Discount Golf KauaiKauai Lagoons Golf Club Tee Times Once there, players will discover that the Kiele Course has a sense of style uniquely its own. Fairways weave along imposing ocean cliffs, over promontories high above the harbor, and among some forty acres of fresh water lagoons that wind their way throughout the resort. Lush groves of exotic foliage thrive amongst the holes. A solitary rotunda sits on the water off the 17th tee and serves as an elegant and exquisitely romantic wedding chapel.
Each hole on the Kiele has a unique affiliation with an animal or
mystical being - such as the Happy Buddha, Camel, Elephant, Hippo,
Swan, Alligator and Dragon - and is marked at the tee box by a white
marble statue set upon a three-ton granite base. The 18th hole features
- what else? - the Golden Bear, in tribute to the golfer who master-minded
the course.
Poipu Bay Golf Course Tee Times This golf course is breathtaking but don't let your mind wander to the beautiful ocean views and beach vistas or this undulating golf course will eat you alive. This links style layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. can play up to 7,000 yards long. The ocean comes into play on holes 15-17. It is the only course on Kauai - and one of the few in the state - to provide an in-cart color monitor satellite tracking system (GPS) to help golfers navigate the course, improve their score and increase their enjoyment of the game. Poipu Bay has, over the years, won numerous awards and has been consistently
rated among the top golf courses in Hawaii and the U.S. Since 1994,
Poipu Bay has played host to the annual PGA Grand Slam of Golf, the
tournament that invites the winners of the four major championships
of that year to compete for a $1 million purse.
